A few things to know before the next chapter.

Can I use SlabPay today?

Not yet. This is a concept preview. The demo uses illustrative numbers and does not connect a wallet, sell a collectible, move money or issue a card.

What would I be able to sell?

The initial focus is eligible authenticated, graded trading cards already vaulted and represented on-chain through Collector Crypt. Eligibility and current offers would need to be checked. Some cards may have no buyer.

Can I add more to the same prepaid card?

Reloadable cards are coming soon. We’re planning a way to add funds to the same card, subject to provider approval and identity verification. The initial single-load card cannot be topped up. Later sale proceeds would stay in your wallet until you choose another card. Reloadable availability, fees and limits are not confirmed, and no launch date is promised.

Where could I spend it?

The first version is intended for eligible users physically in the US and supported US merchants, with an online-first experience. Acceptance varies. Apple Pay, ATM withdrawals and universal acceptance are not promised.

What about refunds and leftover money?

Laso currently says purchased nonreloadable cards cannot be unloaded into wallet funds. Merchant refunds can return to the original card. Its published policies also describe expiry loss and restrictions on disputes. The exact issuer terms and customer protections must be resolved before launch. Put only an amount you intend to spend on a card.

Do I need KYC?

No KYC step at card order describes Laso’s current U.S. single-load flow: no identity-document upload or identity-verification step to order a $5–$1,000 card. Wallet screening, account restrictions and issuer terms still apply. This does not promise anonymity or no checks for collectible sales, merchant purchases or future services. Reloadable cards require identity verification. SlabPay’s program approval and final requirements are still pending. Read the details.

Will I be able to borrow against my collection?

Lending is coming soon on our roadmap. The proposed feature would let eligible users pledge a collectible as collateral for a loan. Borrowing would involve interest, fees and repayment obligations. Default could mean losing the collectible. It is not available today; lender approval, eligibility, pricing and a launch date have not been established.
